I have been trying to catch up on blogging. The sad reality is that I have so many beautiful sessions that have not been shared. So, here I am, past midnight, getting the backlog of blog posts in order. It’s ok… my friends Earl Grey, Fuzzy Peach, and Jimmy Fallon are keeping me company 🙂 What would I do without them??
This session was an inspiration/styled shoot that I put together with some very wonderful vendors. Vintage Origami was gracious enough to loan me some of her extensive and beautiful inventory. My dear friend Carrie from Ginger Creative came along to help me style (ok, she just styled it all on her own!) the session. Blue Sage Floral provided the beautiful florals including the adorable flower crown, bouquet, and table runner. Greenery is such a beautiful option for table decor. So, so pretty! Sweet on You Designer Cups and Cakes provided the beautiful cake. The gold. Oh how I love gold. For the record… it was a real cake. And I got to eat it. And it was delicious. DE-LI-CIOUS!
My friends Nathanael and Megan were lovely and acted as our models. Megan was brave enough to show up even after I told her that she would be wearing a dress that my friend Carly and I made (thanks for that, Megan!!) Sometimes, you don’t need to know how to sew to make a dress. You just need a friend with a sewing machine, treats, tea, and a lot of jokes. Oh and patience. And glue. Lots of glue. You’ll need that too.
Phew….! And… here they are!
